As an Administrative –Payroll Assistant you will be compiling and reporting payroll incidences to the accounting department each payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy of payroll by working along with other management team members, providing clerical support to the Human Resources department as needed. Compile and review payroll incidences, updated employee records, Interact with third-party vendors (orders, payments and general inquires), process documentation related to personnel actions and prepare payroll-related reports for HR as needed, prepare certifications and correspondence for employees, provide assistance to employees regarding payroll providing accurate and detailed information on inquiries, assist and provide clerical support to the Human Resources department as needed.
1-2 + years of Human Resources support, or administrative assistant experience, preferably in payroll related activities, basic knowledge of labor laws, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel along with basic computer skills, strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent phone etiquette and ability to use integrated phone system. Must also be able to prioritize, multi task and provide attention to detail, communicate and work effectively with superiors and colleagues, perform tasks accurately and by required deadlines and present a professional appearance and positive demeanor. Candidates must possess strong, energetic and enthusiastic people skills customer service oriented in representing the company in a positive manner, have a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred) and Excellent / Fluent English level - 90% or above - speaking, writing and comprehension skills.
The right candidate must adhere to company attendance requirements and be able to work assigned schedules, use a computer and phone for several hours at a time, communicate effectively and professionally with all employees, customers and visitors and adhere to client, company and regulatory requirements and policies.
